Is the market finally turning? Looking at local statistics in Chester County, it appears that the local real estate market HAS in fact, turned the corner, with the “bottom” likely to have occurred last June. At the bottom of the market in June, there was 12.9 months of inventory accumulation – that means that, at current selling rates, it would take 12.9 months to sell everything on the market. (Average market is 6 months.) I am excited to tell you that Chester County is currently at 9.1 months of inventory accumulation, and has seen a steady 7 month decline in inventory accumulation. This is certainly great news for Sellers!
